Our Contract With You

We shall accept your order by e-mail confirmation.  Our message will also confirm details of your purchase and tell you when we shall dispatch your order.  That is when our contract is made.  It is possible that the price may have increased from that posted on our web site, although any change will be notified to you in our order confirmation.

We may change these terms from time to time.  The terms that appply to you are those posted here on our web site on the day you order goods and services. 


Descriptions

Every reasonable effort has been made to ensure that all descriptions, weights and sizes of goods are as accurate as they can be, however you may not rely on their accuracy.  We do offer a sample request service for fabric which we encourage you to use.  While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of colour reproduction, colour may vary in accordance with the setting of your monitor, software or printer.  As some of our products are made from natural materials, colours may vary.  In addition with our bespoke furniture there may be slight variations in dimensions as every piece is unique.  Accordingly, any such description shall not form part of this agreement.


Availability & Delivery Details

The bespoke goods advertised are all to order, it is possible however to purchase stock directly from our barn showroom.  We will confirm the availability and expected dispatch date of your item by our e-mail confirmation.

Goods will, in most cases, be dispatched directly from the manufacturer therefore we employ a delivery per item policy. A variety of delivery methods are used depending on the size of the items you have ordered and the value of your order.  All goods may be collected free of charge from the barn showroom. 

Please be aware that for most orders a signature may be required. The carrier will make deliveries to the address stipulated in your order.  You must ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.  The Enchanted Barn can take no responsibility for someone signing for your order without your permission.

Unless we have stated otherwise in writing, delivery dates are not guaranteed, although we shall make every reasonable effort to deliver the goods by any quoted delivery date.

We may deliver the goods in installments if the goods are not available at the same time for delivery.

At the current time internet orders can only be dispatched within the UK.


Price & Payment


You must pay us the full price of your order before we will send any part of it.


Goods Returned
We hope that you are happy with your Enchanted Barn purchase, however, because you buying the goods by mail order, you may have the right of cancellation.

If you do, these are the terms that apply: You must tell us you wish to cancel within 7 days of your receipt of the goods;

In any event, you may not cancel orders for handmade or specially commissioned goods.

The goods must be returned to us within 21 days of your telling us you wish to cancel;
with both goods and all packaging in their original condition;
-securely wrapped to prevent damage;
-including our delivery slip;
-at your risk and cost.

After we have received the goods, we will credit your credit or debit card with the full purchase price of the goods returned no later than 30 days from the date of receipt;

If you do not return the goods to us, you are still liable to us for the cost.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for returned items lost in the post and recommend that you get a certificate of posting.

We are under no obligation to collect or recover goods from you, but if we do, our costs will be payable by you.


Damaged/Missing Items

All items will be carefully packed to ensure a safe delivery. If there appears to be any damage to the packaging on arrival please notify the courier immediately and ensure that this is reflected with your signature.

Upon unpacking your items please inspect them carefully.  Any damaged or missing items must be notified to us by email within 24 hours.
